The preparatory drawing for the original is in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no. 7079.bis, recto), while a study is in the Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan (inv. no. 508). The plate of this copy is preserved in the Calcografia Nazionale, Rome (inv. no. 302).
