Comment
The series, consisting of 84 plates including the title page and the dedication, reproduces ancient Roman reliefs from the Musei Capitolini, Villa Farnesina, Villa Medici, and Palazzo Barberini in Rome. It was first published before 1677, then republished in 1693. This one seems not to be the first edition. Plates 10, 11, 13, 14, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, 31, 76, 77, 78 are missing. The Library of the Museum of Fine Arts owns a bounded volume of the Admiranda Romanorum with different numbering (Gf 17).
