Comment
Forms a pair with inv. no. 8547. The prints reproduce two paintings by Lorenzo Pasinelli made for Alessandro Fava in 1665 and 1670, now both in a private collection in Bologna; see Baroncini 1993, no. 19 and no. 34. The resolution of the monogram as Giovanni Battista Dotti comes from Nagler, and was accepted by Baroncini with some reservations; see Baroncini 1993, no. 105.
