Comment
Reproduces the statue by Bartolomeo Ammanati, made in 1544 for Marco Mantova Benavides and erected in the cortile of his palace in Padua and still standing there. The print was included in Lafreri's 1573 edition of the Speculum. According to the Metropolitan Museum database, inv. no. 41.72(2.61), the print was made after a drawing attributed to Enea Vico.
