Comment
Reproduces the group of antique statues standing in the Roman garden of Cardinal Federico Cesio at that time, today preserved in the Museo Capitolino. The print was part of Lafreri's 1573 edition of the Speculum. Heemskerck's drawing in Berlin, Kupferstichkabinett, shows the two barbarian kings before the restoration.
