Comment
Derives from Tintoretto's painting signed and dated 1561, executed for the Refettorio del Convento dei Crociferi, transferred in the 17th century to the sacristy of Santa Maria della Salute, where it is located also today. Its original arched form recorded in Odoardo Fialetti's print and transformed into rectangular in the Settecento, was restored in 1984 to its original form.
