Comment
Although the inscription indicates Raphael as the designer, no extant work by him relate to the print. However, there are several similar drawings attributed to Giulio Romano from the early 1530s which, according to Cirillo Archer in TIB, in turn derive from Raphael's earlier composition preserved in this print.
