See under inv. no. 6407. The same subject appears in Giulio Romano's fragmentary painting in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. As Giulio Bonasone's engraving differs from the painting, Massari in Rome 1993 supposes it preserves Giulio Romano's original invention, today lost.
