Similar in size, style and subject to Bartsch XV.135.88 and XV.136.89, Cirillo Archer in TIB suggests that the three engravings formed a series. This print is perhaps another adaptation of the same Triumph of Bacchus and Ariadne sarcophagus, through a drawing by or after Perino del Vaga.
