Comment
Reproduces in reverse Jacopo Tintoretto's altarpiece of c. 1577, still in its original location in the Cappella Milledonne in the Church of San Trovaso, Venice. Agostino Carracci completed the figures that are trimmed from the canvas. The plate was forwarded by Luca Bertelli to Giacomo Franco who published a second edition.
