Reproduces Paolo Veronese's painting in the Detroit Institute of Arts, which Agostino Carracci probably saw in Venice. There is a related drawing by Agostino in the Codice Resta, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, Milan, inv. no. 191, which he used for his painting Madonna and Child with Saints, Pinacoteca Nazionale, Parma.
