Comment
The print probably commemorates Filippo Sega's elevation to the cardinalate in 1591 by Pope Innocent IX. Only Bohlin questioned the attribution to Agostino Carracci, on the basis of the awkward anatomy of the putti and the atypical two-dimensionality of the work. Bohn in TIB tends to accept it as an original print by Agostino but also suggests Francesco Brizio as its possible author.
