Comment
Bartsch believed it was identical with the print described by Malvasia as made by Giulio Bonasone after Amico Aspertini and also suggested it was engraved by Aspertini himself. Bruce Davis used the title 'Expulsion of Adam and Eve from Paradise' and agreed with Bartsch's attribution of the design to Aspertini. As regards the printmaker, he observed that the manner is rather Emilian than Roman, however, as no other print by Aspertini survived, he leaves the attribution conjectural.
