Comment
According to Michael Bury, this is the print referred to in Cherubino Alberti's letter to Christina of Lorraine, 27 January 1605, in which it is indicated that there had been an earlier state, but no such example survives. Traces of erased letters at the very bottom indicate that alterations have been made, and there is also evidence of the addition of the footprints on the rock.
