Bartsch thought Agostino Musi executed two versions of the subject, Bartsch XIV.56.50 and XIV.56.51. Passavant found the first too weak in quality to be by Musi, claimed that only Bartsch 51 is authentic, and mentioned a related drawing by Raphael at Windsor.
