Comment
Copy in the same direction after Marco Dente's engraving (Bartsch XIV.376.515), but Beatrizet eliminated the background and represented the new base of the statue, designed by Michelangelo. The print was included in Lafreri's 1573 edition of the Speculum. According to the Metropolitan Museum's database, inv. no. 41.72(2.107), the print is after Marcantonio Raimondi and Marco Dente.
