Comment
The print was first published in Paul Scarron's work La Relation véritable de tout ce qui s'est passé en l'autre Monde [...] (Paris 1648). The ugly women around the figure of Scarron parodying the nine Muses, recall the Gobbi, a series of dwarfs by Jacques Callot.
