The insertion of the Privilege of the French king Louis XIV on three plates, inv. nos 19996, 19998, and 20000, indicates that Della Bella intended to publish the series in France as well. This print represents the monument of the Quattro Mori. The statue of Ferdinand I de' Medici was made by Giovanni Bandini between 1595 and 1599, while the figures of the slaves were added by Pietro Tacca between 1617 and 1626.
