Comment
Copy in the same direction after Luca Ciamberlano's original series dated to 1621, for which see Kurt Zeitler, 'Luca Ciamberlano’s Passion Series for Scipione Borghese', Print Quarterly 31 (2014), pp. 269-79. Zeitler argued that the prints reproduced in The Illustrated Bartsch as Ciamberlano's originals are actually copies in reverse.
