Comment
Title page to Filippo Napoletano's series of 12 prints, first published by Giovanni Orlandi in Naples probably in 1622 (Bartsch XVII.201.2-13; seven plates of the series is preserved in our collection, see inv. nos 1916-290 - 1916-296). According to the Online Catalogue of the British Museum, the lower quality of the title page suggests that it was only made after Napoletano when Rossi republished the series in 1635 after Napoletano's death.
